LUTHERAN MINISTER RETIRES AFTER 30 YEARS

The Rev. Richard A. Giessler has retired as pastor of Floyd-Willis Parish, which includes the Lutheran congregations of St. Mark and Zion. Giessler, who has been in the ministry for 30 years and served College Church in Salem more for 15 years before going to Floyd in 1987, plans to remain in the area.
