WRECK KILLS 1, INJURES 2
A 21-year-old Blacksburg man died late Thursday night as a result of injuries he received in an automobile accident on Prices Fork Road.Daniel Victor Stetler of Progress Street died at Roanoke Memorial Hospital about 11:30 after a three-car accident near the Montgomery County water treatment plant shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, state police said.
Stetler was the son of David and Paula Stetler of Cheverley Drive in the Belmont Farms section of Christiansburg.
Two other people were injured, but police did not release their names.
Stetler graduated from Virginia Tech in December with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg.
Visitation is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Harding Avenue in Blacksburg at 4 p.m. There will be a gathering of friends after the service in the church's fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, the parents have asked donations be made to the Blacksburg and Christiansburg rescue squads.
