HOKE-PERKINS
Debra Lynn Perkins and Donald Ray Hoke were married January 16, 1993, in
Hollins Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Washington officiating. The
reception was held at the Kazim Shrine Temple. The matron of honor was Tracey
Erdmann, sister of the bride. The best man was Rodney Melton, friend of the
groom. The ushers were Mike Mayo, Randy Craig, Don Melton, and Tim Quick,
friends of the groom. The candlelighters were Mike Mayo and Randy Craig. The
guestbook was attended by Jessica Merricks. The bride is the daughter of
Preston and Lorraine Perkins of Roanoke. She graduated from William Fleming
High School, CHRV School of Nursing, and Virginia Western Community College.
She is employed by Fiber Com, Inc. The groom is the son of Rachel L. Hoke of
Roanoke, and the late Frank R. Hoke. He is a graduate of Northside High
School, and is employed by Double Envelope. The newlyweds are living in
Roanoke, after their wedding trip to The Homestead.
