CLINTON SHOULD GO BACK TO OLD AGENDA
PRESIDENT Clinton has talked his way out of the draft, out of a (one?) marital problem and into the White House. Now, he's talking his way into your pocketbook and mine.
The people voted for change, and since the election, the outline of the change has changed. Clinton was elected on an agenda that included high priorities for reducing both the national debt and annual deficit. Being from Arkansas with minimal contacts in Washington, he had inadequate knowledge of what he was facing. (Don't worry, we'll talk our way through it, and the people will understand!) Now that the light of knowledge is growing brighter, taxes have risen to the top priority. And, Mr. Clinton is out "charming" the people.
The issues haven't changed. The No. 1 priority for our children and you and I is to reduce the spending of the federal government.
Bill and Hillary need to review their promises, study up on good business practices, minimize politics, study fiscal responsibility and build their goals accordingly. More taxes are not part of this taxpayers' dream. SAM FRY TROUTVILLE
