VMI FALLS 11-1 TO N.C. STATE

In Raleigh, N.C., VMI got only one run on seven hits and lost 11-1 to North Carolina State on Monday in college baseball.

David Groseclose was 2-for-4 and drove in the Keydets' run in the ninth inning.

Shawn Senior (5-0) was the winning pitcher for the Wolfpack (16-0), which has won a school record 13 straight games. He allowed no runs and struck out seven batters in seven innings.
