COX, Wayne Elvin, 58, of Salem, died Sunday, March 14, 1993 in a Salem
hospital. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Cox; a son and
daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol Cox of Salem; a daughter and son-in-law,
Brenda and Steve Eanes of Martinsville; a son, Greg Cox of Roanoke;
stepdaughters, Connie Thurston of Tazewell, Cathy Cook of Salem;
grandchildren, Amanda C. Cox, Richard H. Cox, Brett Eanes; stepgrandchildren,
Wendolyn Thurston, Robyn Thurston, Hunter Thurston; his mother, Hazel Campbell
Cox; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Irene Thornhill of Buford, Ga.,
Louise Collins of Radford, Florence and Sam Guilliams of Salem, Linda and Joe
Smith of Lilburn, Ga., Nancy and Walter Bailey of Roanoke County; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, William Austin and Norma Jean Cox of Roanoke
County, James B. and Becky Cox of Roanoke County, Donald and Barbara Cox of
Hoston, Ga. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 1993 at 3 p.m.
at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment
will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel
after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
