OBIT STAUFER, ESTHER H.

STAUFER, Esther H., 84, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, March 12, 1993. A native of Pennsylvania, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred N. Staufer, a minister in the Church of the Brethren for 41 years. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, W. Bryan and Kathy Staufer, Kalamazoo, Mich., and Paul J. and Roxanne Staufer, Roanoke; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robert M. and Ruth E. Teel, Mt. Zion, Ill., and Robert S. and Marjorie Smith, Oxford, Ohio; and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Summerdean Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Monday evening at Oakey's North Chapel. Memorial gifts may be made to the Christian Children's Fund or Prison Fellowship Ministries. Interment will be in Pennsylvania.
