OBIT NEIGHBORS, ELSIE LEE HATCHER

NEIGHBORS, Elsie Lee Hatcher, 60, of Salem, died Monday, March 15, 1993. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald C. Neighbors. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda N. and John W. Martin, Va. Beach; two grandchildren, J.W. and Candice Martin; sisters, Virginia Jones, Blue Ridge, Marie Steele, Richmond, Lula Kesler, Salem; mother-in-law, Maggie Neighbors; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Church Hill Cemetery, Salem, with the Rev. Bill Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
