OBIT DAVIS, RALPH CURTIS
DAVIS, Ralph Curtis, 65, of Lottsburg, died Sunday, March 14, 1993 in
Fairfax County Hospital. He was formerly of Buena Vista. Mr. Davis was born in
Rockbridge County on August 13, 1928, the son of the late Hugh B. Davis and
Flora Smith Davis. He was a retired engineer with Safeway and attended Melrose
Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and an avid
sportsman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Evelyn Hall Davis. He is
survived by two daughters, Teresa Davis, Lottsburg and Sally Kaye Whitton,
Burke; two sons, Skipper Jack Davis and Hugh Madison Davis, both of Lorton;
one sister, Frances Sensabaugh, Fishersville; two brothers, H. B. Davis,
Raphine and Tommy Davis, New Market; ten grandchildren. Funeral services will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at Lomax Funeral Chapel with the
Rev. Marc Sherrod officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lomax Funeral Home.
