OBIT ELKINS, WINIFRED HAGEE

ELKINS, Winifred Hagee, 86, of Wytheville, died Sunday, March 14, 1993, at her residence. She was born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Hiram and Ollie Hagee. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Grayson Elkins, and her son, James Hagee Elkins. She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Elkins Sutliff of Wytheville; three grandchildren, Paul E. Sutliff of Wytheville, David E. Sutliff of Salem, Ruth S. Fielder of Troutville; four great-grandchildren, Jamie E. Sutliff, Steven W. Sutliff, Kim Sutliff, Hope Sutliff; one sister, Ollie H. Shockly of Wytheville; three brothers, Herman Hagee of Wytheville, Thomas Hagee of Pulaski, Devoe Hagee of Salem. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
