OBIT WEDDLE, DARIUS CALVIN

WEDDLE, Darius Calvin, ("Druss"), 77, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 1993. He was retired with 38 years service from the Norfolk & Western Railroad and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carrie Gibson Weddle; sons, Calvin L. Weddle of Roanoke and Clarence L. (Chubby) Weddle and wife, Irene of Vinton; sisters, Clyde Moffatt of Chesapeake, Nova Aliff of Stewartsville, Nola St.Clair of Portsmouth; brother, Vernon Weddle of Princeton, W.Va. Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Bruce Noffsinger with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
