ENACT CLINTON'S ECONOMIC REFORMS
ARE WE Americans responsible adults? Or are we irresponsible, spoiled children? The monstrous national debt, more than $4 trillion already, and rising, will crush us unless we curb it now. President Clinton has built an economic plan, full of common sense, that can stave off national bankruptcy. The sacrifices, which it asks us to make, are slight compared with the consequences if we remain childishly self-indulgent.
Let's remind Congress that our individual good depends on the solvency of the nation, and demand that Congress enact Clinton's program.
