GEOLOGY SEMINAR DATE CHANGED

The date has been changed for Virginia Tech's Geological Sciences Seminar with speaker Henry Posamentier of Arco. Posamentier, who was scheduled to speak Thursday, will give his lecture on Wednesday.

His lecture, "Making Mountains out of Molehills: A Scale-Independent Approach to Sequence Stratigraphy," starts at 4 p.m. in 2044 Derring Hall. Refreshments will be served at 3:30 p.m. in the Museum of Geological Sciences.

Admission to Wednesday's seminar is free.
