OBIT CORMANY, EARL K.

CORMANY, Earl K., ("DOC"), 85, of Route 4, Wytheville, died Thursday, March 18, 1993 at his residence. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mt. Ephriam United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise Hilton Cormany of Wytheville; two daughters, Chloe Ann White of Richmond, Va., Nelda Umberger of Daleville, Va.; one son, Derl R. Cormany of Wytheville; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Hale of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Sis Bass of New Castle, Va.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be Sunday 2 p.m. in the Mt. Ephriam United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Joseph Brookshire and the Rev. Robert Peterson with the interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the Grubb Funeral Home from 7 to 9. The remains will be placed in the church one hour before service time. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
