OBIT RIGBY, ALBERT E.
RIGBY, Albert E., 75, of Tiffin, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 17, 1993 in
the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. He was born June 4,
1917, the son of Alfred and Alice Meyers Rigby and was predeceased by a sister
Dorothy Galster and a brother Walter Rigby. He was a compositor at the
Advertiser Tribune, the Echo Press, and retired from the Roanoke Times & World
News. He served during World War II in the Army and was a charter member of
the Rodger Young VFW Post 6067 and the Old Trinity Episcopal Church. He is
survived by three sons, Jerry Rigby of St. Petersburg, Fla., Rodger Rigby of
North Wilkesboro, N.C., Dennis Rigby of Tiffin, Ohio. Funeral services will be
held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Park Ave. in
Fremont with the Rev. Donald Shoub officiating. Burial will follow in
Greenlawn Memory Garden in Clyde, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Old Trinity
Church or to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Hannay-Nemeth
