FISHER, Edgar Lee Sr., 57, of Roanoke, died Friday, March 19, 1993. He was a member of Preston Oaks Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Warrick Fisher, a brother, Warrick Fisher Jr. He is survived by his wife, Barbara M. Fisher; sons and daughter-in-law, Edgar L. Fisher Jr., Jarrett, Mike and Cathy Fisher, Salem; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Sam Jenkins, Virginia Beach, Susan and Patrick Morris, Rowlett, Texas, Patti and Chris Howard, Monroe, Ohio, Julie and Rick Polk, Mesquite, Texas, Lisa and Gregg Millsap, Hot Springs, Ark., a son, Donnie Middleton, Dallas, Texas; mother, Virginia J. Fisher, Covington; sister, Emogene Baker, Covington; brother, James Fisher, Richmond; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 1993 at Preston Oaks Baptist Church with Rev. James R. Millsaps and Dr. Robert T. Copenhaver officiating. Burial will be held in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
