OBIT LINK, WILLIAM H.

LINK, William H. ("Sam"), 83, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 20, 1993. He was a long time active member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a retired surveyor, engineer with T. P. Parker & C. B. Malcolm. Mr. Link was a veteran of World War II - Army Air Corp. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Katherine Basham Link; three nephews, Jack Link, Paul Link, and T. D. Link, all of Cincinnatti, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday from Oakey's South Chapel. Dr. Jerry Campbell, the Rev. Walter M. Lockett Jr., and the Rev. John Wynn Myers will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fine Arts Series of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
