HOW CAN A PASTOR ACCEPT ABORTION?

REV. EDWARD T. Burton says he thinks President Clinton is doing a good job and is a deeply religious person (March 1 news story, "At Home With the Voters").

I know of no church that teaches that the killing of unborn children is acceptable. How a pastor can support someone who advocates abortion is incredible, especially since 28 million have occurred to date. JOEL M. CANNADAY BASSETT
