OBIT CALDWELL, JANIE FINNEY

CALDWELL, Janie Finney, 73, of Clifton Forge, died Friday night, March 19, 1993 at Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born October 3, 1919, in Salem, daughter of the late Edward S. and Ethel Nichols Finney. Surviving are two daugters, Mrs. Anne McIntosh, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. David (Mary Sue) Martin, Christiansburg; one son, David R. Caldwell, Roanoke; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Turner, Clifton Forge, Mrs. Oliver (Margaret) Terrell, Richmond; one brother, Roy Finney, Clifton Forge. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Sunday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel, Covington with the Rev. William Crites officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home. The Committal service will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. in Alleghany Memorial Park, Covington.
