An illustration in Monday's newspaper contained some incorrect information about the Virginia counties in which state police seized marijuana plants in 1992. Franklin County had the second-largest number of plants seized in the state: 9,641.
Peter Viemeister, who on Friday was named Citizen of the Year by the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, is former chairman of the board of directors of the Bedford Memorial Foundation, now the Bedford Community Health Foundation, for which he is a member of the advisory board. Also, he is former co-chairman of the board of the Bedford City/County Museum. An item in Saturday's paper contained incorrect information.
