ARCHITECTURAL FIRM PICKS BOARD OFFICERS
Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern Inc., a Roanoke-based firm of architects, engineers and planners, elected three new officers and board members at the firm's annual meeting Monday.John Bradshaw Jr. will be chairman of the board, T. Howard Noel will be president and chief executive officer and Cecil G. Doyle will be secretary/treasurer and chief financial officer.
Bradshaw, a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, joined the firm in 1963 as a structural engineer. He became an associate of the firm in 1967 and held several other positions before becoming a partner in 1976. He supervises the operation of the regional offices, including those in Virginia Beach; Mobile, Ala., and Rockville, Md.
Noel, a graduate of the University of Virginia, started with the firm in 1967 as a bridge and structural engineer. He became a partner in 1981 and has been president since 1988. He is in charge of projects related to major transportation.
Doyle heads the firm's industrial and energy technical group. He graduated from Virginia Tech and joined the firm in 1970. He was made a partner in 1981.
HSMM has a staff of more than 300. It has nine other offices located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Maryland.
