SOWERS, John Wayne, 51, of Willis, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 1993 at Radford Community Hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Sowers, Floyd; parents, Troy and Elizabeth Sowers, Willis; one brother, Billy Sowers, Willis; two sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Bolt, Floyd, Sandra and Gary Dillon, Willis; four nephews, Tommy Sowers, Floyd, Kevin Sowers, Willis, Jimmy Wayne Radford, Willis, Mickey Bolt, Floyd. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will be in the Barringer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
