OBIT WHITE, JAMES ROBERT

WHITE, James Robert, 71, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at the VA Medical Center in Salem. Mr. White was born in Giles County on June 5, 1921, to the late George William and Dora Ann Price White. He was a retired employee from the steel mills. Surviving are his wife, Diana Haynes White; two daughters and a son-in-law, Holly and Akio Koeda, Heather Jamison; and one son, Robert Cameron White; two grandchildren, Alex Koeda and Felix Koeda, all of Roanoke; one sister, Minnie Furrow, Newport. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Fulcher will officiate. Interment will follow in the Price Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
