Lisa Sprinkel, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Catherine Smith, sister of the groom; Elizabeth Smith, sister of the groom; Marie Tate, aunt of the bride; and Debbie Bently, friend of the bride. The flowergirls were Whitney Sprinkel and Ellen Sprinkel, nieces of the bride.
The best man was Lacy A. Smith, father of the groom. The groomsmen were Glenn Sprinkel, brother of the bride; Eli Caison, Matthew LaBell and BillyEntsminger, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Brandon Tate, cousin of the bride.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a satin gown with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice was accented with lace, sequins and seed pearls. The long sleeves featured lace trimmed cutouts with pearls and sequins. The sweetheart keyhole back was accented with a small satin bow and pearls and lace. The cathedral train had cutout appliques trimmed with pearls and sequins. The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white sweetheart roses, ivy, baby's breath, and stephanotis trimmed in lace and seed pearls.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Edward Sprinkel of Fincastle. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and the College of Health Sciences. She is employed as a respiratory care technician at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Ageon Smith of Buchanan. He graduated from James River High School and Virginia Military Institute. He is employed by Ageon Farms, Inc.
The wedding directors were Sue Smith and Laura Jean Tate, aunts of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Beverly Carr and Tracy Key. Photography by JimMarkey.
The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner, at Charcoal Steak House, for the wedding party and friends and family of the couple.
Following the ceremony a reception was hosted by the bride's parents in the ballroom of the Patrick Henry Hotel. Mrs. Barbara Sprinkel was pianist for the wedding and provided music at the reception.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds will live near Buchanan.
