POFF, Genevieve Ferris, ("Weetsy"), 49, of Salem, died Sunday, March 28,
1993. Surviving are her husband, David A. Poff; her daughters and son-in-law,
Rhonda S. Poff, Kimberly R. Poff, both of Salem, Debbie P. and Michael Bradt,
and a dear grandson, Logan, to be born very soon, all of Boones Mill; sisters,
Carol Francis and husband, George, and their sons, Randy and G.T., all of
Roanoke, Vicky Rowland and husband, Gary, of Vinton, and their sons and
family, Chris Rowland of Vinton, Buddy and wife, Penny, and daughter,
Alexander, of Roanoke, Mary F. Amos and her son, J. R., both of Salem;
brothers, Michael C. Ferris and daughter, Autumn, both of Roanoke, Reginald J.
Ferris and wife, Lotus, and their daughters, Regina, Robin and Renee', all of
Vinton; other nephews, Irvin R. Land Jr. and wife, Karen, Tommy F. Land, Greg
Land; and a special niece, Jennifer R. Ferris. Funeral services will be held
at Ridgewood Baptist Church 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, with the Rev. Nelson
Harris, the Rev. Tommy Toms and Father James E. Parke officiating. Interment
will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m.
Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where friends may call on Monday and
Tuesday.
