OBIT BONHAM, PHYLLIS STULL

BONHAM, Phyllis Stull, of Chilhowie, died Sunday, March 28, 1993, in the Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion. She was the widow of Joe Love Bonham Sr., and was a member of Saint James Lutheran Church. Survivors include one son, Joe Love Bonham Jr., Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Frazier B. Frye, Broadford, Va.; her mother, Mrs. Beatrice Stull, Chilhowie; one brother, John Daniel Stull, Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Rheta Greever of Chilhowie, Mrs. Ruth Trembley of Greenville, S.C.; and one granddaughter, Sydney Elizabeth Bonham, Marietta, Ga. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday at the Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chilhowie, with Pastor Charlotte M. Strecker-Baseler officiating. The family suggests flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Saint James Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. The body was taken to the Saint James Lutheran Church at 6 p.m. Sunday.
