It used to be that kids in grade school always started their day with the pledge of allegiance to the flag (nobody wanted to burn it, either) and a prayer. Today, schools can't allow those activities, but they are allowed to teach kids that abnormal behavior, such as homosexuality, is all right.
Years ago, when a man was convicted of a violent crime, he was either executed or sent to prison for hard labor. Today, convicts can file lawsuits because they can't live like you and me.
I'm sure our founding fathers would hardly believe the shape our nation is in today. This country was founded on the principle of a government "by the people, for the people." In a true democracy, the "people" are the majority, not every little special-interest group that pops its head up at election time.
