OBIT TRIMBLE, NANNIE ETHEL SMITH
TRIMBLE, Nannie Ethel Smith, 86, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, March 28,
1993. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Rosettie Caldwell Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Lee Trimble; and a daughter and
son-in-law, Hazel L. and Elmer C. McPherson, all of Blacksburg; son, Ray Lee
Trimble, Texas; exdaughter-in-law, Carolyn LaRose Trimble, Blacksburg; two
sisters, Goldie Smith Simons, and Daisy Smith, Roanoke; two grandchildren and
spouses, Robert Edward and Anna McPherson, and Carolyn Ann and John Steven
Smith, both of Blacksburg; two great-granddaughters, Mary Carol Bonds, and
Kristy Dawn McPherson of Blacksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McCoy Fuenral Home Chapel with the
Rev. D. O. Weaver Jr. and Rev. M. D. Saunders officiating. Interment will
follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will
receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
