OBIT MASON, LORA ELIZABETH EAMES

MASON, Lora Elizabeth Eames, 80, of Rt. 7, Bassett, died Monday, March 29, 1993, at Martinsville Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born March 9, 1913 and was the daughter of the late Richard Daniel Eames and Lora Bowles Eames, of Franklin County. She was a member of Fort Trail Baptist Church. She is survived by her Husband, Claude Wilson Mason, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Mason Bouldin and Mrs. David (Linda) White, both Martinsville, Mona Eames Mason, of the home, and Mrs. James (Becky) Cox, Collinsville; two sons, Ralph Wilson Mason and Thomas Howard Mason, both of Bassett; six sisters, Hazel Bousman, Irene Bousman, Mary Clark and Gladys Matherly, all of Martinsville, Louise Cundiff, Bassett and Imogene Bowles, Rocky Mount; two brothers, Howard Eames and Raymond Eames, both of Martinsville; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Fort Trail Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rob Roberts and the Rev. Jim Alsop officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Chapel and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Cox, 506 Longview Dr., Collinsville. Memorials can be made to Fort Trail Baptist Church or charity of donors choice. Collins Funeral Services, Bassett in charge.
