LEGISLATORS TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS
Several Southwest Virginia legislators have scheduled public meetings for citizens to discuss issues that may come up during the 1993 General Assembly.
State Sen. Virgil Goode, D-Rocky Mount; Del. Roscoe Reynolds, D-Martinsville, and Del. Tom Jackson will be hosts of a Carroll County public constituent meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the county courthouse.
Jackson will then move to Galax City Council chambers for another meeting at noon. He will be joined by Del. G.C. Jennings, D-Marion, for a meeting at the Grayson County Courthouse at 1:30 p.m.
Jackson and state Sen. Jack Reasor, D-Tazewell, will hold two more constituent meetings at 11 a.m. Jan. 9, in the Wythe County Courthouse and at 2 p.m. in the Bland County Courthouse.
