OBIT HECK, CORDIE MAE

HECK, Cordie Mae, 91, of Bedford, died Thursday morning, December 31, 1992, at the home of her daughter in Nanjemoy, Md. She was the widow of Charlie M. Heck, and was a member of Thaxton Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Helen H. Webster of Roanoke; Mrs. Frances H. Robertson of Boones Mill, Mrs. Lucille H. Hatcher of Nanjemoy, Md.; her son, Quincy T. Heck of Daytona Beach, Fla.; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday in Mountain View Memorial Park, Boones Mill, with Dr. Michael DuVal and the Rev. Cam Napier officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
