MAN CHARGED WITH TRYING TO BRIBE OFFICER
A 25-year-old man was charged Tuesday with attempted bribery of a police officer.Theodore O. Calloway of King Charles Avenue Southeast was stopped for a traffic violation, police said.
He is accused of offering a police officer a $25 bribe because he feared a traffic summons would result in his license being revoked.
In other police news, Reginald E. Strange, 20, told police his wrists were slashed as he handed over $10 to assailants who had pulled alongside his car on Indian Village Lane Southeast.
