INTOLERANCE SPEWED FROM EDITORIAL
YOUR HEADLINE editorial entitled "Intolerance and ignominy" is a prime example of the judging of others, without first judging self. The editorial writer writes under anonymity, while others must give names and addresses. I do, however, understand that the editorialist represents the newspaper. This hyper-critic writes a scathing account about intolerance, while his own near-vitriolic meandering shows the very same thing!
Those of us who call ourselves Christians, who name Christ as Savior and Lord, are citizens, taxpayers, patriots of the United States, and have rights under the Constitution also. Is a Christian supposed to stand grinning like a Cheshire cat, while being steamrolled by a liberal, left-wing agenda? No! We will stand, fight for that which has tradition and time on its side. Our country was founded on Christian and biblical principles and we will fight to maintain them.
If the A.C.L.U. (that putrefying sore on the face of America) and liberals succeed, this country will slide into the pit, and great will be the fall of it. Those with evil intentions have twisted and distorted. They like me will face death, and judgment. HAROLD E. DUDLEY BLACKSBURG
