FORUMS AVAILABLE TO VOLUNTEER MANAGERS
The Voluntary Action Center of Montgomery County is sponsoring regular forums for volunteer managers in the New River Valley. The gatherings will allow people to share ideas and resources, and address concerns related to volunteerism.
The first forum will be held Jan. 28 at the Blacksburg United Methodist Church, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring a bagged lunch.
Registration is $5 if postmarked by Monday, $10 if postmarked after this date. The forum includes a telecast of the 1992 International Conference of Volunteer Administration, beverages and 20 pages of handouts. Handouts can be mailed for $10.
