TEENS WOUND BOY IN ROANOKE SHOOTING

A 13-year-old boy was shot in the arm after several other teen-agers opened fire into his apartment.

Roanoke police said Percy L. Grant was sitting on a couch in the living room of his apartment in the Lansdowne housing project Wednesday night when he was shot.

Bullets went through the door and windows of the apartment, and one hit Grant's arm. Grant was in stable condition Thursday evening at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. - Staff report
