OBIT-RIFENDIFER, JACQUELINE LE BIHAN ("JACKIE")
RIFENDIFER, Jacqueline Le Bihan ("Jackie"), 62, of Roanoke, passed away
Wednesday, January 13, 1993 in a local hospital. She was the widow of Robert
R. Rifendifer and was employed for many years as a nurses assistant with Lewis
Gale Hospital. Jackie was born in Normandy, France, August 28, 1930. She was a
loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many; one who cared for the sick
and touched the lives of many people. Surviving are her sons, Laurent R.
Rifendifer, Allen D. Rifendifer, and daughter, Elizabeth J. Rifendifer;
daughters-in-law, Ann Rifendifer and Debbie Rifendifer; grandson, Adam C.
Rifendifer and granddaughters, Susan and Lauren Rifendifer. Also surviving are
a large family in France including ten brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles,
nieces and nephews, all of whom live in or around Evereux, France. Funeral
services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel
with the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones officiating. Interment will follow in
Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
