OBIT-WICKLINE, RUTH PHILPOTT

WICKLINE, Ruth Philpott, 94, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 6, 1993 at South Roanoke Nursing Home. She was a charter member of Grandin Court Baptist Church, past president of Grandin Court Garden Club and lifetime member of Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Surviving are her husband, Herbert A. Wickline, two sons and daughters-in-law, William Thomas and Doris Wickline, Max Camper and Garnett Wickline, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 1993 at Grandin Court Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Carol Johnston. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Grandin Court Baptist Church or the Hospice Program c/o Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
