Beverly Ann Earnest and Timothy Glenn Hundley were united in marriage Saturday, December 19, 1992 in acandlelight ceremony at First Christian Church in Salem, Va. Rev. Wayne C. McCauley officiated the double ringceremony. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Amy Cash of Virginia Beach, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. NancyCastillo of Boones Mill, Va., friend of the bride; and Miss Stacy Phillips ofGreensboro, N.C., niece of the groom.
The best man was Mr. StephenHundley of Olympia, Washington, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr.David Earnest of Roanoke, Va., brother of the bride; Mr. Gary Phillips ofGreensboro, N.C., nephew of the groom; and Mr. Erol Atakkaan of Charlotte, N.C., friend of the groom.
Guestbook and program attendants were Miss Angela Gordon of Roanoke, Va. and Mrs. Gaye Littrell of Salem, Va.Special music was provided by Mrs. Sonja Seymore of Emory, Va. and Mrs. Harriett Martin of Salem, Va., organist.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Wesley Earnest of Salem, Va. The bride is a graduate of Salem High School and Virginia Tech, and is employed as a teacher with the Suffolk Public Schools.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dorie F. Cox of Liberty, N.C. The groom is a graduate of SouthEast Guilford High School, attends Tidewater Community College, and is employed by the U.S. Navy and is a deputy with the ChesapeakeSheriff's Department.
Following a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Va., the couple will make their home in Chesapeake, Va.
