DEACON ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Millard Deacon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 16, 1993. The celebration was held at their daughter and son-in-law's home. They were married January 15, 1943. She is the former Della Shorter. They have one daughter and two grandchildren. He is retired from C. C. Bova, and she is a homemaker. The couple are members of Coopers Cove Baptist Church.
