GIBBS ANNIVERSARY

Samuel, Jr., and Doris B. Gibbs, of Bedford, Virginia, celebrated their 40th anniversary on January 13, 1993. A celebration dinner was hosted by their five daughters, Donna G. Anduiza, Troutville, Va., Diane G. Anderson, Salem, Va., and Janet G. Amos, Vickie G. Pagans, and Tammy G. Toney, all of Moneta, Va., and their families. In attendance were their 14 grandchildren and five sons-in-law. Samuel, Jr., is the son of Samuel and Margaret Gibbs, of Bedford, and Doris is the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Blankenship, of Bedford. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs are members of Timberidge Baptist Church in Bedford. He is an employee of Stripers Landing, Smith Mountain Lake. She is a private duty aide in Bedford.
