OBIT HOWARD, LENA

HOWARD, Lena, 92, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, January 16, 1993. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lucille Moore, Roanoke; a niece, Gwendolyn Gradney, Brentwood, Long Island, N.Y.; three nephews, Chester Moore Jr. of Richmond, William Jones of Lynchburg, Earl Jones of Peekskill, N.Y.; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at High Street Baptist Church with Dr. N. C. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
