OBIT HUDSON, E.

HUDSON, Effie Sloan, 87, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hudson. Surviving are one stepson and wife, Howard and Betty Hudson of Richmond; three sisters, Bessie Gibson of Callaway, Lelia Sloan of Roanoke County, Clara Humphreys of Boones Mill; also two nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 22, 1993 with the Rev. Irvin W. Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
