OBIT TYREE, ARTHUR MITCHELL

TYREE, Arthur Mitchell, 73, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 23, 1993. Survivors include one daughter, Margie Jane Cohen, Lake Wals, Fla.; two sons, Arthur Louis Tyree and Rev. Benjamin F. Tyree, both of Roanoke; one sister, Nannie Tyree, Detroit, Mich.; one brother, Essex Tyree, Roanoke; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a devoted ex-wife, Olivee W. Tyree; a faithful niece, Maxine Wiley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29 at 2 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Rev. J.R. Hughes officiating. Interment will be in the Fair View Cemetery. The procession will assemble at 2501 Hanover Ave., N.W. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
