BALLET AUDITIONS SET FOR FEB. 13

The Southwest Virginia Ballet Company will hold auditions at The Post School of Ballet on 305 East Calhoun St., Salem, Feb. 13 for both the junior and senior companies.

To be eligible for the junior company, dancers must be age 11 and up. Junior company tryouts are from 10 a.m.-noon.

Dancers must be age 14 and up to try out for the senior company, with auditions from 1-3 p.m. An audition class will be taught by David Keener of the Virginia School of the Arts. The class will cost $10.

The Southwest Virginia Ballet Company will be featured in The Post School of Ballet's complete performance of "Sleeping Beauty" later this year.
