Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Conner are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Dawn Conner, to Scott Ashby Beaman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne D. Beaman. Melissa is a graduate of Northside High School and is attending the College of Health Sciences. Scott graduated from William Byrd High School and is employed by Lawrence Transfer. An August wedding is planned.
