Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Foster, of Blue Ridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacie Annette, to Blaine H. Simmers, of Harrisonburg. Mr. Simmers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gail D.Simmers, of Salem.

Miss Foster is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Bridgewater College. She is attending graduate school at Virginia Tech.

Mr. Simmers is a graduate of Salem High School and Bridgewater College. He is employed by Bridgewater College.

A July wedding is planned.
