BAKER-SALEEBA
Elizabeth Ann Saleeba and Clifford Arrel Baker were married on January 30,
1993, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Salem, Virginia, with
Father James Parke officiating. The reception was held in the church hall. The
bride is the daughter of Lucy Saleeba of Roanoke and the late Edward Saleeba.
The bridegrom's parents are Warren and Ann Baker of Roanoke. The bride wore
her mother's gown of ivory satin and was given away in marriage by her
brother, Edward Saleeba of Charlotte, North Carolina. Maria Niswander of Lake
Jackson, Texas, was her sister's matron of honor. Kevin Baker of Roanoke was
his brother's best man. Ushers were Tom Fitzgerald of Roanoke and Mark Lynch
of Salem. The guest book was attended by Cynthia Haswell of Roanoke. Organist
was Nancy Cook with a trumpet accompaniment by Reverend Albin Crutchfield. The
bride graduated from Roanoke Catholic High School and the Medical College of
Virginia School of Nursing. She is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The
bridegroom graduated from Jefferson High School and Virginia Western Community
College. He is employed by R. L. Polk. The couple will reside in Roanoke
following their honeymoon in Florida.
