POWERS ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. John E. Powers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 30, 1993. The celebration was held at Ye Olde English Inn attended by close friends. The couple was married December 26, 1942, in Roanoke County by John D. Utt. Mrs. Powers is the former Alice Louella Kelch. She is retired from Dominion Bank. Mr. Powers is retired from The Roanoke Time & World News.
