OBIT-MARTIN, MABLE CHRISTINE CLOWER

MARTIN, Mable Christine Clower, 70, of Rt. 1, Pilot, passed away Saturday, January 30, 1993, at her home. She was preceded in death by Jewell Clower. She is survived by her husband, Harley Martin; one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Jewell Jr. and Carol Clower, Roanoke; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Janine and Jeff Bower, Pilot; and a grandson, Ricky Clower, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 1993, at the Huffville Church conducted by the Rev. Richard Ecklund. Burial will follow in the Huffville Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Huffville Church at 5:30 Monday evening where the family will receive friends from 6 until 9. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the New River Valley Hospice, 1806 Prices Ford Rd., Blacksburg, Va. 24060, if preferred. She will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and many, many special friends. Arrangements are being handled by the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
