OBIT-JOHNSON, MICHAEL SHAWN

JOHNSON, Michael Shawn, 19, of Lexington, died Saturday, January 30, 1993 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Michael was born June 25, 1973, in Lexington, Va., a son of Danny Stuart Johnson and Jane Marie Beckner Johnson. He was a member of the First Brethren Church of Buena Vista, Va. and worked at the Shoney's Restaurant. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers and one sister-in-law, David S. and Mary Johnson, Paul D. Johnson, all of Lexington, Va.; a maternal grandmother, Betty Beckner of Lexington, Va.; a paternal grandmother, Margaret (Maggie) Johnson of Natural Bridge Station, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jill Y. Crainshaw and the Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family would like memorial donations be made to the Rockbridge Area Free Clinic, P. O. Box 1573, Lexington, Va. 24450. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
